About
I became ordained in 2012 when close friends asked me to officiate their wedding. It was an honor, but it also felt like something deeper. I’ve always believed strongly in love, in God, and in the importance of committing your life to another person in a meaningful way.
What started as helping friends quickly became something I genuinely connected with. Guiding two people through one of the most important moments of their lives feels natural to me. I’m comfortable speaking in front of people, I don’t get nervous, and I focus on making ceremonies feel real, not scripted or generic.
Since then, I’ve come to see officiating as more than a one-time favor. It’s a way to help couples start their marriage with intention, authenticity, and a ceremony that truly reflects who they are.
I’m naturally funny, direct, and a people person. I know how to keep a crowd engaged and the moment alive, but I’m very intentional about tone. I aim for a few genuine laughs and smiles, without ever taking away from the significance of what’s happening. I know when to let a moment breathe and allow the weight of the commitment to come through.
I show up fully present and reliable. I’ve been sober for over four years, and I take this role seriously. I’m ordained and licensed by the State of Ohio to legally perform marriages.
I offer both faith-based and secular ceremonies, depending on what feels right for you. I also provide writing support for ceremony scripts and vows, helping you tell your story in a way that feels natural and authentic.
My goal is simple: to create a ceremony that feels like you. Not rushed or generic, but intentional, meaningful, and memorable, for you and for everyone there to witness it.
I believe in God, and I believe Jesus is the Christ and Son of God. That said, I don’t approach this as a traditional pastor. I meet people where they are, with love, respect, and understanding. I’m comfortable working with couples of all backgrounds, beliefs, and levels of faith.
If you’re looking for a faith-based ceremony without heavy doctrine or formality, I create something grounded in faith but centered on your relationship. And if you’re not religious at all, I’m just as comfortable crafting a completely secular ceremony that reflects your values and your story.
